The Art of Bits and Pieces

I get seduced sometimes by rubbed fabric. These are pieces of hand dyed cotton rubbed with oil stick on rubbing plates. Because the rubbing plates are someone else’s design, it always feels different for me. So I’ve treated these as found objects and added couching, metallic stitchery charms, found objects and oddities to embellish them.
